Health and Wellness
We help improve the health and wellness of families on the Island - especially children and elders.
For the elders we provide medical equipment such as: blood pressure machines, medications for cold/flu symptoms, vitamins for indigestion, and much more.
For the children we provide multi-vitamins to
strengthen their immune system and support
healthy growth. Some of the children we sponsor suffer from different health conditions, and with these vitamins they are able to fight back and live a little better. We are making a big impact on their health and wellbeing.
New Homes Donations
We have donated 3 new homes for 3 new families in need.
These families all lived in remote areas with no access to water, schools for their children, or transportation for employment.
From their new homes in the city, they are able to earn a living, take their children to school, and have proper sanitary living standards.
Portable Power Stations
We purchased and sent (6) Jackery Portable Power Stations to 6 different family households. In addition, with each portable station we provide a portable phone charger, and a usb lamp for a complete power outage packet.
School Supplies
School supplies are not a luxury, but a necessity to every child out there, because they all need an education. It is very hard to find school supplies on the Island, even for those with money. We sponsor kids as well as adults because we are trying to make a difference. We sent Back to School Care Packages with all of their essential school supplies. We were also able to send: shoes/socks, undergarments, water bottle, backpack/lunch box combo, hats-because the sun is unbearable on the Island, bug bite ointment, and multivitamins.
Business Support
The families that we sponsor receive the support they need to set up legal businesses in their homes, which can generate income for them to feed their loved ones. While there are millions of jobs in the US, this is not the case on the Island. This year alone, our foundation was able to sponsor 3 different family businesses, and with our continued support these families will soon be reaping the fruits of their labor.
Monthly Food Allowance
We are currently sponsoring 25 family households with monthly food allowances.
Our donations provide the families with income they would otherwise not have, to feed their loved ones. To give you some perspective, $100 US Dollars provides sufficient food for (5) different families.
These donations are life changing for all of these families because they wouldn’t otherwise have access to normal food items. Most of us have the ability of going through a drive through for breakfast, lunch and dinner - if we desired. That is not the case on the island.
